children and divorce

The impact of divorce on children’s behavior and academic achievements
Since there had been a big debate of the effect of divorce on children, I would like to begin to tackle the difference between children in divorced families to those who live in a family of two married parents. Researchers have found that children in divorced families are on average worse than others. They are worse academically; their behavior is not up to the required standards. They have difficulties to deal with their peers and teachers, their reactions are somehow aggressive and more trouble getting along with their parents.
Despite of these problems faced by this group, still the two of them are alike more than being different. As group children from divorced families have relatively more problems than others.
These problems are caused because of many factors. The relation between the children and the nonresidential father is not the issue; it is the relation between them that matters. Parents are considered the protection and security for the children so when one of them is not there, kids lack a lot of their sense of security.
Usually the economical standard is affected after divorce, which negatively affects the children.
Also the stress they experience in life with a single parent is said to cause these children failure in school and in managing all their life’s issues.
The relation between the divorced parents has a major influence on the children.
Therefore we have to say that it is one of the most difficult transitions in any child’s life, passing through the trauma of divorce.
although the effect of divorce on children differ according to their age, stage of development, gender it still said to be the worst that children pass through to the extent they feel their world is falling apart.
